my intermediate reporting class at umass is doing all these assignments that we’re publishing in the university’s newspaper, the daily collegian, which is the biggest college daily in new england.
this means i get clips (yay clips!) and i don’t even have to go out of my way to get things published like…actually being on the staff of the newspaper.

i'm feeling relatively accomplished today.
got my first art history paper back. it was five pages and ungraded, but the prof gave marks of G (good) S (satisfactory with a + or -) and U (unacceptable) just to let people know where they stood.
i was one of the few people in my class who got a G, which i’m stoked about.
also finished all my story idea proposals for articles about the economy, food and global warming for my reporting...
just got the most pathetic statement as a problem in my symbolic logic hw:
“if you are happy only if you are drunk, then unless you are drunk you are not happy.”
which as a translation in sentential logic is
(~D->~H) -> (~D->~H)
