our existence has serious side effects

sarah. 22.

lover of oregon, camping, the woods, people, folk music and life.

currently calling seattle home.

i miss my bike. i only got to use it back in the summer of 2010 when i was last home in portland for any great deal of time. i’m not sure if seattle is as bike-friendly as portland, but i’m pretty much going to be forced to face my fears about biking in the city because um, grocery shopping.

i miss the esplanade. i miss biking downtown on summer evenings. i miss being drunk and tandem biking from sellwood to voodoo doughnuts with leia and reed.

bike!
went on such a nice bike ride tonight around my neighborhood and along the river to downtown. i’ve recently decided to start riding my bike to my internship a few days a week. i’m not really a biking or exercise “person” so we’ll see how that goes. most of the biking i’ve done in the past few years has been while intoxicated. yep.
