psa to portland folks
a friend of mine from high school was driving down MLK by NE skidmore last week when someone ran up to her car while she was driving and smashed out her window with something. i don’t know if they were trying to carjack her or what the deal was, but she got away safely as soon as possible. so just watch out i guess in case someone is doing this to multiple people.
things i find funny: everyone in the show fresh meat can correctly pronounce “oregon,” despite being in england, but 95% percent of people i encountered on the east coast cannot pronounce it, despite actually being in the same country.
so i heard it’s raining in oregon…
from all the complaining on tumblr i gather that there’s a few east coast/mid westerner hipsters who are feeling reservations about moving to a state where…it actually rains.
i guess salem’s ridiculously flooded though which worries me bc i know a lot of people from there and i do hope that they/their houses/their family’s houses will be okay. but maybe if salem just sort of drifted away i doubt that anyone would be too sad about it…
